CETQAP Launches Urgent “PFH5N1 – Monkeypox Eradication Drive” in Response to Rising Cases. 100,000 FREE MASK to Civilians

Islamabad, Pakistan – August 26th, 2024

In a critical move to safeguard the nation, the Center for Excellence Technology Quantum and AI Pakistan (CETQAP) has launched an urgent campaign titled “PFH5N1 – Monkeypox Eradication Drive.” This initiative comes just six months after Dr. Zuhair Ahmed, a leading Quantum philanthropist, warned of a potential pandemic emerging right after Eid. Unfortunately, his prediction appears to be coming true as the country witnesses a concerning surge in monkeypox cases which is just one part of H5N1

Dr. Zuhair’s warning, which initially seemed distant, is now a harsh reality as infections rise across various regions of Pakistan. With symptoms such as fever and rashes becoming increasingly common, the fear of a widespread outbreak is growing. In response, CETQAP has rapidly mobilized resources to initiate a nationwide awareness and prevention campaign.

“The signs are here, and we cannot afford to wait,” a CETQAP spokesperson Nadeem Hussain stated in a press release today. “Our nation is at a critical juncture, and it’s our collective responsibility to protect each other. This is why CETQAP is launching an all-out effort to prevent the spread of monkeypox.”

As part of this eradication drive, CETQAP will be distributing 100,000 free masks to the public and conducting educational sessions on how to stay safe from the virus. These initiatives aim to provide communities with the tools they need to protect themselves and their loved ones.

“We believe in the power of knowledge and prevention. By educating people on proper safety measures, we can reduce the risk of transmission and safeguard our communities,” the spokesperson added.

The campaign has gained significant international attention, with the United Nations expressing its concern over the rising cases in Pakistan. In a statement released today, the UN emphasized the importance of swift and coordinated action to contain the outbreak.

“The UN is deeply concerned about the recent surge in monkeypox cases in Pakistan. We urge all nations to support efforts aimed at preventing the further spread of this virus,” said a UN representative. “The international community must come together to ensure that all necessary resources are made available to those on the front lines of this battle.”

Social media platforms have been flooded with messages of support for the campaign, with hashtags like #CETQAP, #MonkeyPoxEradication, and #PFH5N1 trending across Pakistan. Citizens are taking precautions as the reality of the situation sets in, and the government has expressed its support for the campaign, urging the public to participate actively in the drive.

“The health and safety of our people are paramount. We urge everyone to take this threat seriously and follow the guidelines” said a senior health official.

As the situation continues to develop, the importance of this campaign cannot be overstated. CETQAP’s proactive measures, could be the key to preventing a full-scale epidemic in Pakistan.

For now, the message is clear: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, and Stand Together.
